Whether you’re applying for the Event Decoration Assistant or Events Administrator role, a fundamental skill required is the ability to assemble our basic backdrop. Whether you’re directly creating backdrops or providing support to those who do, knowing how to put one together is essential.

Steps To Prepare For Your Audition

Step 1: Watch the training webinar video above

Step 2: If you already have the necessary items, please use them. Alternatively, we offer a complete package of all the items needed to assemble your backdrop for the audition. Allow yourself 7 to 14 days of practice time before the audition to feel confident and prepared.

Step 3: Our average time to assemble a standard backdrop is 2 hours, but this basic backdrop should be completed within the 1-hour timeframe for your audition. Please practice until you can assemble it in under 1 hour, following the steps provided in our webinar. Typically, new team members need around 5 hours of training to master this skill within the 1-hour benchmark. The primary focus will be on assembling cluster balloons, so specific training on this technique is included below
